Acupuncture treatment at CLINIC

Caitlin Isbister Lic. Ac.

(she/her)

Since I was a child, I have always been interested in various facets of Eastern cultures. I pursued this interest by visiting Japan, studying taekwon-do and practicing qigong. I obtained my BS in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and my MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008 from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago.

I practiced primarily in Boston and Arlington, Massachusetts since 2008 and I held a residency at Boston Medical Center in the Department of Family Medicine. Last year I relocated to Easthampton, MA and I have been treating patients at CLINIC Alternative Medicines since November 2022.

I am the most content when helping people. My goal is to improve the quality of life of patients and get them back to doing things they love. I believe the highest form of medicine is prevention. My areas of expertise include pain, sleep and stress disorders, menstrual issues and infertility, headache and digestive disorders. In addition to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, I incorporate ear acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha and Chinese dietary therapy into my treatments.

When I am not seeing humans, I treat dogs and cats in Northampton and Easthampton with acupuncture. I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with my 3-year-old daughter and my husband.
